About 4-H
4-H clubs encourage youth, ages 5 to 19, to learn by doing. 4-H programs actively involve youth in quality experiences that focus on lifelong learning of values and skills. There are a variety of 4-H clubs and groups that young people can join.
Youth that want to join horse 4-H they don’t have to have a horse. This is called the horseless program. In this program youth still learn the same thing as the youth who have horses.

New Class this year – Nevada WooHoo Showmanship Class: Handler will be judged on presentation of the horse. NOTE THESE SPECIAL ATTIRE REQUIREMENTS: Handler must wear a cowboy hat or a riding helmet. Long sleeved shirt or hunt jacket. Shorts. Western boots or English field boots. Handler will be asked to perform various (silly) maneuvers while presenting horse to judge.
